I’m leaving Medium for PostHaven

All I want is to blog, free and clear, and maybe get some eyes on my stuff. Medium used to be quite good for this, until they turned to a more Capitalist structure; the dreaded Pay Wall. They also used to be decent for stats, but they broke that and haven’t fixed it.

Tyler Knows Nothing

PostHaven is not a replacement for Medium. It’s a simple blogging platform, similar to Posterous, if you recall that. In fact, PostHaven was started by the same peeps. $5 a month, up to 10 blogs, and if you keep your account paid for a year, they will keep it up for as long as they can manage. Considering its affordability and number of creators who use it, I don’t think that will be a challenge.

So, I’m moving all my stuff and closing this account after a month or two.
